LET'S TALK ABOUT H (HEALTH)
A perfect balance in the food we eat, the exercises that we do, how active and lively we stay, perfect and good quality of sleep can be summed into a perfect health. Our bodies are made up of natural elements and these elements should work in a balanced manner for smooth functioning of the body. So, this balance is very important. Any disruption in this balance will affect our life and we will be in pain. This natural balance can be affected by various factors such as infections by the microorganisms that our bodies can't handle, eating of unsuitable foods that put pressure on the smooth working of our system, our feelings that overwhelm the body chemistry and environmental pollution.
As Mahatma Gandhi very correctly said "It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver". A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Health is not just physical but mental as well. And one cannot be mentally healthy if one is not physically healthy. Having an unhealthy lifestyle would add to the stress that one already has in his/her life be it work or relationship whereas being healthy would help us in thinking clearly and understanding things better.
The definition of peak health is highly individual, as are the steps a person may take to get there. Every person has different health goals and a variety of ways to achieve them. It may not be possible to avoid disease altogether. However, a person should do as much as they can to develop resilience and prepare the body and mind to deal with illnesses as they arise.
